Get ready to hike the third annual Urban Ale Trail Saturday, Sept. 10 from 1-6 p.m. Hosted by Downtown Phoenix Inc., this walkable beer tasting tour runs along the light rail corridor from Downtown Phoenix to uptown, and allows participants to sample amazing craft beers and local cuisine throughout the central city.
Similar to Urban Wine Walk, Ale Trail’s sister event in the spring, participating locations offer three 4-ounce samples of beer for $1 or $2 each, paired with a delicious and complimentary bar snack — while supplies last. Plus, each destination is just a quick walk, bike ride or light rail stop away, so you can easily and safely navigate between tastings.
Both amateurs and beer aficionados are welcome. We simply encourage you to take the day to explore Downtown Phoenix, socialize and visit new (or longtime favorite) locales. Sample at your own pace and please sample responsibly.
Before you begin your trek, you’ll want to stop by District American Kitchen and Wine Bar, where the first 300 people will be handed a free commemorative growler.
No registration is necessary — you can start when you want, where you want. But please take a moment to RSVP on Facebook, so we can better anticipate attendance and continue making Urban Ale Trail an amazing downtown experience.
