Portland-based Black Rock Coffee Bar has plans to open three locations in the East Valley in the coming months.
The three locations will be at 4050 S. Alma School Road in Chandler off Alma School and Ocotillo roads, slated to open in October; 5329 S. Power Road in Mesa, off Power and Ray roads, opening in November; and 1150 S. Arizona Ave. in Chandler off Arizona Avenue and Loop 202, opening March 2017.
“Our teams are fueled by serving people,” said Black Rock Coffee Bar Arizona Regional Manager Bobby Kaufmann in a statement. “That makes every new store – and especially an expansion into an entirely new state – a true honor. We look forward to building our presence in Arizona, establishing quality connections with its residents and becoming a part of their stories.”
Black Rock currently has 32 locations in Oregon, Washington and California that are company- and franchise-owned. The coffee shop is opening two Idaho locations at the same time as the Phoenix-area locations.
Black Rock has plans to open additional Phoenix locations throughout the next 12 months.
About Black Rock Coffee Bar
We strive for excellence in everything we do in life. Our awesome drinks are a way we show respect for our customers and ourselves. They are the beginning of a relationship built on trust and care that through time grows to see our stories unfold in our city.
As part of local communities, each Black Rock Coffee Bar team finds ways to serve their neighborhoods. And by doing so we help raise the bar for relationship and compassion.
As relationship grows, so does accountability. We hold each other to higher standards for the good of all. Whether it be care for nature, care for those in need, or just a sincere desire to see others do well, we learn to expect a lot from each other and a lot for our customers.
Our priority at Black Rock is not for others to know who we are and what we do… but for others to allow us to know them, to add fuel to their story, and to share in the journey.
