Breakfast Kitchen Bar is joining the dining lineup at Scottsdale Quarter. The restaurant is scheduled to open in September in the former C3 Kitchen space, next to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
The project comes from restaurateurs Sam Ashek and Samer Alkhairi. They also own Pita Jungle franchises on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale, in the Desert Ridge area in northeast Phoenix, and in Pasadena, Calif., all from the Valley-based Mediterranean restaurant chain.
Breakfast Kitchen Bar’s menu is in development, but a few morning signatures so far include steak and eggs Benedict paired with avocado and mashed potato hash browns; croissant French toast; blueberry protein pancakes; a lobster omelet; chicken and waffle hash; pizza hash; and breakfast pizzas.
At lunch, we can expect dishes like a Southwest chicken Cobb salad topped in crispy tortilla frizzles; grilled wild salmon salad; an açai bowl; a high-protein, low-carb plate of broccoli, avocado, asparagus, squash, eggs and chicken; and a burger topped in fried egg. The kiddies, meanwhile, will eat up choices like a s’mores waffle.
The spot, to be open daily, also will offer happy hour and tapas.
