Nook Kitchen officially opened Wednesday in downtown Phoenix.
The Arcadia restaurant opened its second location at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown at 15 E. Monroe St., which is inside the renovated Professional Building originally constructed in 1931.
Nook Kitchen’s second location followed suit, with 19-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, tufted banquets, an octagon-shaped marble bar, and a wine tower housing more than 1,100 boutique selections.
“We are incredibly excited to bring Nook Kitchen to the downtown Phoenix market and are looking forward to contributing to the growth of the neighborhood,” said Nook’s owner Frank Vairo in a statement. “We’ve worked extremely hard to construct a space with our Downtown guests in mind. We’ve added built-in phone chargers and power outlets below the bar for our business lunchers, and created a dining room that embodies the Downtown Phoenix movement. It’s comfortable, but upscale – hip but not pretentious. It’s a place where you’ll want to spend a few hours either before or after an event. Above all, it’s a place with good food, good cocktails, and really good people.”
