2 Arizona Restaurants Among 100 Hottest Restaurants In America

Two Valley restaurants are among OpenTable’s 100 Hottest Restaurants in America.

Culinary Dropout in Tempe and SumoMaya Mexican-Asian Kitchen in Scottsdale made the 2016 list, which is based on diner reviews. The online restaurant-reservation company analyzed more than 5 million reviews of 20,000 restaurants across the country, looking specifically for the hip, new spots that are creating buzz in their respective cities.

The gastropub offers an edgy, laid-back environment compared to other Fox restaurants. The Tempe branch is part of The Yard at Farmer Arts District, a popular hangout off bustling Mill Avenue, featuring a massive patio, lawn games and regular live music.
