Drink Beer & Get Paid! No, It’s Not A Dream!

Through March 26, WOB is accepting applications for its “Drink It Intern” program, providing interns the opportunity to drink beer, travel and share one-of-a-kind stories all while getting paid $12,000 for the summer. What’s even more exciting is that interns can still keep their day job and all expenses are paid for.
The national search is coming to World of Beer Tempe on March 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m for the final leg of the seach. Candidates can interview on the WOB stage with our panel of judges to prove they have what it takes to be one of our Drink it Interns. Coming to an in-person interview automatically pushes applications to the top of the pile.
Throughout the internship, the Drink It Interns will be capturing content and reporting on their behind-the-scenes look at the beer industry during their travels around the world and sharing it on social media. The internship will also give them the chance to learn from the beer experts at DRAFT MAGAZINE.  Applications can be submitted online at http://worldofbeer.com/DrinkItIntern, or applicants can apply during one of the in-tavern interview events.

Candidates will be interviewed live on the WOB stage and judged by an all star panel featuring:

* Erika Rietz, DRAFT Magazine

* Jake Leinenkugel, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company

* Tessa Koppenhafer, WOB-Tempe’s tavern general manager

Candidates should be ready to show us their true personality, wow us with their social media and creative prowess, impress us with their passion for beer and food, and own the stage in front of our panelists. We’re looking for social media gurus, aspiring photographers, wanderlust souls, published writers, everyday beer enthusiasts or those who simply always have their phone ready to capture awesome moments.
