Creamistry opening 20 locations throughout the Valley

A California ice cream shop is opening three locations in almost the exact same areas as burger joint Shake Shack.

Creamistry, founded in 2013, flash freezes ice cream with liquid nitrogen.

It is opening its first location in mid-April at 7135 E. Camelback Road in the Scottsdale Fashion Square area, followed by a second location in Uptown Plaza and a third in Scottsdale Quarter, both set to open in May.

New York burger joint Shake Shack opened its first location at Fashion Square several weeks ago, and is opening its second location in Uptown Plaza this week. It’s third location will be at Kierland Commons — across the street from Scottsdale Quarter.

The Creamistry locations will be franchised by former Arizona Cardinal and co-founder of Impact Church Andre Wadsworth and real estate expert Ryan Zeleznak, who have plans to open up more than 20 locations throughout the Valley.
