Hobe Meats, 6044 N. 16th St., has expanded and doubled in size by adding a deli next door in the space formerly occupied by Nene Unique.
The deli offers a variety of made-from-scratch dishes including meatloaf, mac & cheese, potato salad, smoked brisket, baby back ribs and more. There is a daily lunch special with soup, salads and sandwiches Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The most sought-after sandwich is the Dreamy Draw, a thin-sliced beef brisket with caramelized onion topped with a creamy horseradish sauce on a hoagie bun.
Hobe’s deli offers a full line of Dietz & Watson lunchmeats and cheeses to make a sandwich of your liking. The meat counter offers USDA prime aged beef sourced out of Omaha, Neb. Other attributes you can find at this old school butcher shop include fresh pork, chicken, sausages, lamb and the largest selection of wild game in Arizona.
Hobe Meats was established in 1962, and has been supplying high quality service and products, for nearly 50 years. Now under new Management Bret Pont has kept the traditional old style butcher shoppe alive. Supplying meat from the mid-west, buying directly from The Greater Omaha Packing Company, that has been around since 1920. We only sell Prime and Choice grade meats, with a minimum of 30 days aging.
